Vintage dated each year, the Domaine Carneros Brut cuvée represents the best of Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made into a classic sparkling wine.

The 2005 vintage started with an early spring followed by a long cool summer that allowed the crop to mature to perfection. For the fourth year in a row the crop was small and the resulting fruit intense. The Brut cuvée has wonderful floral aromas and great balance.

The 2005 cuvée is composed of 64% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 2% Pinot Blanc. Approximately 8% of the cuvée underwent malolactic fermentation prior to blending the cuvée for tirage bottling. The wine has been aged for three years prior to release and will further age gracefully in your cellar (if you can resist opening).
