1. Are children allowed at the winery and can they come on a tour?
Yes. Anyone under 21 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Children are also welcome to accompany you on the tour. For children 12 years and older there is a $10 tour fee. There is no fee for children under 12 years of age.
When considering whether a tour is appropriate for you and your children, please consider the tour duration is usually 75 minutes. The comfort of other guests and their ability to enjoy the tour without distraction should also be a factor in your decision.
2. Are pets allowed?
We allow certified service animals only.
3. Do you have a picnic area?
We do not have picnic grounds.
The Napa Valley Conference and Visitor Bureau will be able to provide a list of picnic sites in the area.
4. Do you have a restaurant?
We do not have a restaurant but Domaine Carneros is one of the few wineries which offer table service. We offer cheese, caviar and smoked salmon plates.
We also recommend the nearby The Carneros Inn for dining options.
5. How many people can you accommodate for a tour and tasting?
We have many options available for larger groups. See Private Tours for tour and tasting options.

6. If we are only interested in a tasting, how many people can you accommodate?
We can accommodate a seated tasting for up-to 20 people. If your group has 10 – 20 people, a prior reservation is required. Please contact our Tour Coordinator to make a reservation.

7. Do we need a reservation for a tour and tasting?
Reservations are not required for less than ten people. However, during our busier months (June – October) it is recommended to make a reservation on weekends and public holidays.

8. Does Domaine Carneros host Wedding Ceremonies or receptions?
Unfortunately our Napa County use permit does not allow it. The Napa Valley Conference and Visitor Bureau will be able to provide a list of wedding sites, caterers, photographers and florists in the area.
9. Does Domaine Carneros allow for wedding photos or other special occasion photography to be taken at the winery?
We are very sorry but we do not have the staffing capacity to ensure a wedding party is properly directed and cared for during the photography session. For your special day, we would prefer you are looked after with the utmost attention!
The Napa Valley Conference and Visitor Bureau will be able to assist you with location recommendations.
10. I am looking for a romantic venue for a marriage proposal. Do you offer any special packages?
Yes! One of our Specialty Offering packages is called Balcony Package. It offers a wonderfully memorable experience for a marriage proposal (anniversary or other romantic occasion) with personal service at a private table for two on the château’s balcony. Please see Balcony Package for more details.
