We are thrilled to showcase our Entre Amis vineyard for our eighth Single Vineyard sparkling release. Starting with the 2014 vintage, we have selected fruit from a single vineyard each year that truly exemplifies its site, wholly, and vividly.
As ‘Entre Amis’ states in French, this wine is meant to be shared among friends. It is the newest vineyard in our portfolio, just a short mile south of the winery, and named for its location at the western end of Las Amigas Road. This sparkling celebrates the spirit of women gathering, connecting and sharing along this historic Carneros crossroads. Purchased as bare land, we spent 2017 to 2019 planting a variety of our favorite clones, as well as new selections of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vines enjoy an unobstructed view of the San Pablo Bay where they enjoy a near constant breeze from the Pacific in addition to the maritime influence of the bay. This is the ideal growing condition and special corner of our Carneros estate vineyards, which allows the grapes to cool at night and preserve the acidity before harvest.
