2017 Blanc de Noir

Two decades ago we created our first Blanc de Noir- a white sparkling wine made from black Pinot Noir grapes. Our experimentation yielded a precious few cases of a truly unique California sparkling wine, with hallmark Blanc de Noir characteristics of fruity fleshiness and a bit more body and texture. We continue to produce this cult favorite in very small quantities and sell it exclusively at the winery.

Tasting Notes

Our Blanc de Noir opens up with wonderful notes of baked apple, white cherry, graham cracker, and lychee. The palate continues to entice with more cherry accompanied by flavors of white peaches, honeydew melon, and tangerine. There is a deep complexity that is enhanced by the extra year of aging this vintage received in the bottle. Soft, round and thought provoking this wine presents a generous mousse.
