Prepare 2 glasses with a gold rim. Add gold rim sugar to a shallow dish. Run a citrus wedge along the rim of the glassses. Submerge in the gold sugar until coated.
Add cranberry juice, orange liqueur and ice to a cocktail shaker. Split and scrape in the vanilla bean. Shake until chilled. Divide into prepared glasses.
Top with Domaine Carneros Estate Brut.
