Our marketing team shares their favorite holiday traditions to inspire your own! On Christmas morning, Aubrey's family loves to make this Puffed Pancake recipe. Aubrey's Mom is of German descent, and this recipe has been in her family for generations. Simple and quick, this delicious German pancake is something the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

To Top:

  • 3 cups sliced strawberries
  • Sour Cream
  • Brown Sugar

Instruction

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Put butter or margarine in a 9 inch oven safe pan and place in the pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes or until melted and bubbly. Remove the pan from the oven.

In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, flour, and salt. Add to the pan, and return to the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven, and let slightly cool for 5 minutes. While cooling, slice strawberries and then add them to the pan to fill.

Serve with sour cream and brown sugar to top.

Serves 4-6.
